Tall Ships Fundraiser
Been looking for a fundraising idea for the Tall Ships race this year. The object is to try and fund two of the berths for the whole of the race. I've just come across the perfect thing. My mother used to make various items of food from her mothers recipes. By the time it occurred to me to get hold of these recipes, my mother was suffering from alzeimers disease and was unable to impart this information. My sisters have just found my grandmothers hand written recipes and I have set in motion a little cookbook entitled, 'Grandma Tonkins Cornish Cook Book'. I should have this available by the start of the SOH shows. It will cost about £1.50 per unit to manufacture. I will sell it for a fiver and put the entire profits to the aforementioned activity. Just testing the potato cake now. Brilliant!! Bon Apetite.

See you there. Normality resumed
Made it to West Chiltington without mishap and back again. Good to see so many of you there. Thanks Jerry, John and Steve. Thanks also to Lynne (in absentia) Hope the video comes out alright.
GigsOk Folks Gig update. Apologies for my non appearance at the Ram Club last night. By the the time I was able to escape fom Exeter, the M4/M5 interchange was completely unnavigable due to the bridges being closed. My attempts to get across from south of Bristol to Bath also met with gridlock and there was a point at which I had to give up. The gig will be rescheduled asap. Thanks bob and Maggie for your efforts in contacting people. It looks OK for West chiltington tonight. We'll do the coast route which is clear. See you there. The sunday band show is definately rescheduled to sunday 14th April. In addition to people calling us to say they might not be able to get in, a section of roof (over the bar) collapsed under the weight of the snow. All in all the fates have been conspiring against us.
Gigs postponed
Dueto the dreadful weather conditions, there's no guarantee that I can get to the Ram Club tonight. If that happens then it will have a knock on effect on West Chiltington tomorrow as well. The big gig iExeter is also postponed until Easter sunday. Sorry Folks. Will keep you posted.
Sunday 8th Feb
The last of the band shows is on sunday at The Corn Exchange, Exeter. Any profits made will be going to the Tall Ships berth fund.
