Folk boat is now on twitter: twitter.com/boatfolk
A series of suggestions have come up regarding the, as yet, unbooked potential cruises in July next year. One is to do a specific melodeon cruise possibly with my old mate Simon Care on board as resident tutor. Another is to have a trip that is specifically skiffle oriented. That could be fun. Anyone contacting vicky about next year should express their interest if thats what ‘floats your boat’.
Julys trips have yet to be be confirmed but it may well be that these turn out to be specialised as far as the music side of things is concerned. One of the suggestions is a meldodeon voyage with our good friend Simon Care as a resident tutor. Another interesting suggestion is a cruise with the musical content being Skiffle. These are just ideas at the moment but if enough people express interest, we’ll make them reality
Welcome to the new improved Phil Beer website, it has just gone live and there are still a few things to do but hopefully you’ll find all is working as it should for the most part!
The sailing and music trip last week from Plymouth to Falmouth was one of our best voyages so far. The wind and conditions were perfect and a good time was had by all. Here is the link to Amy Davenports short about the building of Pegasus which we hope you’ll all find interesting. Bon Voyage.
